Earth Sauna (Sweat Lodge) Ceremony (8 CEUs)

This event is FULL-You may register for it and be placed on a waiting list.

We are grateful to have Terry Kinsey of Mother Earth Adventures lead our earth sauna ceremony, formerly known as a sweat lodge ceremony. This sacred, physically and spiritually-cleansing ritual is often a centering and empowering experience, and has helped many as they travel their life paths. This full day event includes the preparation of the sacred space used for the sauna, education on the ceremony, and a Pot Luck feast following the experience. We offer this experience with the deepest honor and respect for the spiritual lives of indigenous peoples around the world. The non-refundable $50 donation collected from each participant is sent to the Humanitarian Service Project. For more information on the sauna, click here.

Learn To Play The Native-American Flute

The Native American Flute is an easy and highly intuitive instrument to learn to play and we offer an open, comfortable, and friendly group atmosphere for those who take part. The course is designed around the idea of the "Flute Circle" where each person has the opportunity to learn at their own pace and, in turn, help each other. The 6-week, 12-hour course, led by Rob Miller, is open to all skill levels, and beginners will be able to play something by the end of the first session! Unlike other courses (and instruments), you will be guided to express the music of the spirit within your heart. As you become more skilled, you will learn to find a place that calms your hectic day, allows you to relax, and brings peace to your soul. $240 (includes authentic Native-American style flute, finger charts and all other supplies)
