Our July Six Healing Sounds-Chinese Health Balls workshop will combine two very powerful way to heal yourself and others. In times of stress and sickness, we often emit spontaneous sounds that help to soothe and heal us. The crying of sadness, the laughter of joy and the moaning of sickness are three examples. The therapeutic effect of these primordial sounds has become buried in modern times with our excessive use of producing sounds through speech and singing. Practice of the Six Healing Sounds promotes optimal organ health, emotional balance, and helps prevent illness.

Chinese Health Balls is an exercise system that’s been in use for over 2,000 years. They can improve strength, flexibility, dexterity and circulation in the fingers, hands and wrists. In addition, they can relieve joint stiffness and soreness while relaxing muscles and joints, reducing the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, repetitive strain injury, rheumatism and arthritis. They are deeply relaxing, can help reduce stress, improve overall health, stimulate the mind and reduce your risk of cognitive decline, dementia and Alzheimer’s. Each participant will receive a free set of Health Balls.

Both of these practices, led by John Robertson, are easy to learn and perform and have a wide range of applications for both health professionals and the general public.
