The Mountain 10 Journey To Positive Change workshop will focus on accessing your inner wisdom to bring about the changes you deeply desire in your life. The Mountain 10 Journey is a proven process for deep reflection on human change. It is based on the conviction that every person has the most important answers about direction, purpose and calling within them. This directed reflection process leads us through four terrains of exploration, stopping at waypoints to consider key questions about awareness, letting go, vision and realization. The terrains of our journey will take us into deeper observation of our feelings, thoughts and images. We will explore what we need to let go of as we truly seek what we really want. We will open a space for new vision and consider the practical steps to actualize that vision. We will share and deepen our insights in small circles of trust. We will identify key steps to integrate our Mountain 10 journey into our everyday reality. Throughout the process, gentle movement and journaling will be used to connect with body, mind and spirit wisdom. Includes the presenter’s book, Mountain 10.
- Class begins promptly at 9:00a. Be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes early for check in.

- Bring a sack lunch. A refrigerator and microwave are here for your use. Lunch will be 30-40 minutes-not enough time to leave the premises.

Gary Boelhower, PhD has been an educator at the high school, college, graduate, and executive training levels for over 40 years. His focus has been on ethics, values, leadership and wise decision making. He uses diverse wisdom technologies to facilitate deep reflection and to access the inner teacher.
He has served as an administrator in higher education as chair of humanities, dean of life-long learning, dean of graduate studies and vice president for academic affairs. He has consulted with a broad range of organizations (government, education, not-for-profit, and business) and has facilitated executive development programs on dialogue, authentic leadership, values and vision, the respectful workplace, navigating racial and cultural diversity, and wise decision-making. He was also the founding executive director of the Center for Spirituality and Leadership at Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
His publications include articles in leadership, practical wisdom and values integration. His poetry and stories have been published in journals and anthologies. His most recent books include: Naming Rites: Poems (Holy Cow! Press 2017); Marrow, Muscle, Flight: Poems which won the Midwest Book Award (Wildwood River Press 2011); Choose Wisely: Practical Insights from Spiritual Traditions (Paulist Press 2013); and Mountain 10 (coauthored with Joe Miguez and Tricia Pearce, Mountain 10 Resources 2013). He presently teaches at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota.
Gary Anderson is a Certified Yoga Instructor and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Practitioner and has been teaching and seeing private clients for 14 years. With over 2000 hours of studio teaching experience he brings a strong presence along with his big heart into every collaborative relationship.
He created and taught a course in Hatha Yoga and Philosophy at The College of St. Scholastica for several years. He has taught Hatha Yoga classes through community education programs, led workshops, and facilitated retreats. His current areas of study are Thai Yoga Bodywork and Somatic Yoga.
He brings his mindfulness living skillset into the greater community through his role as a City Councilor in Duluth, Minnesota. He has also worked as a community organizer and was an instrumental leader in the marriage equality effort in Duluth for the 2012-13 Minnesotans United for All Families campaign. He and his spouse Gary Boelhower have been living, loving and serving the world together for over 7 years.
